New and Exciting Additions Made Possible by NetPlay
Lebanon, CT, is thrilled to have a brand-new playground at Tyler Field, thanks in part to a generous donation from NetPlay USA as part of their Gift of Play initiative. One of the standout features of this playground is the NetPlay Mini Pirate Tower Climber, which promises endless hours of fun and adventure for children and the young at heart.
Community Collaboration
The town’s Recreation Commission spearheaded this project, recognizing the need for a playground for families when the Bailey’s Garden Playground at Lebanon Elementary School is unavailable during school hours. This new addition to Tyler Field provides a safe and enjoyable play area, ensuring parents with younger kids have a place to go even when school is in session.
Building Dreams Together
The road to this playground’s opening has been a community effort. The Recreation Commission has had this playground in its long-term goals for over 5 years, and the community has been vocal about their desire for it. However, with budget constraints, making this dream a reality seemed challenging. That’s where NetPlay USA stepped in, demonstrating its commitment to enriching communities by providing opportunities for play and recreation.
Community Impact
“The new playground at Tyler Fields is a great addition. As the Lebanon Elementary School PTA President, I’ve had the privilege of seeing so many children playing while their siblings are on the ball fields. It gives Tyler Fields a family atmosphere, and that’s what we love about Lebanon. The playground has truly brought our community together, and I’m grateful to NetPlay USA for their contribution to our children’s happiness and well-being,” says Rachael Archer.
InCord and NetPlay USA: A Shared Vision
As a sister company of InCord Custom Safety Netting, both headquartered in neighboring Colchester, NetPlay USA’s contribution is a testament to their commitment to enhancing the community’s recreational facilities with a focus on quality and safety. NetPlay USA’s ‘Gift of Play’ program, honors the vision of InCord founder Ed Ritz, who believed in providing all children with safe and enjoyable play environments. The Ritz family, who grew up in Lebanon, understands the importance of giving families a place to play, and this donation is a testament to their commitment to the community.
A Mother’s Joy
“The new playground at Tyler Fields is a fantastic addition to the town. It was heartwarming to see so many families come together for the opening. Introducing my children to the excitement of the new playground, which we played a part in creating, was a truly rewarding experience as a mother.,” said Meredith Shay, daughter of Ed Ritz and CEO of InCord.
A Symbol of Community Spirit
The playground at Tyler Field is more than just a play area; it’s a symbol of community spirit and the power of coming together to create something extraordinary for future generations. We invite all Lebanon residents to come and enjoy this beautiful space, knowing it is built with love and dedication to their well-being and happiness. Whether you’re a parent, a grandparent, or a community member, we encourage you to visit the playground and experience the joy it brings firsthand. We look forward to seeing you there!
