John Belinsky

As a Material Handling Sales Manager at InCord, John is the main point of contact between InCord and its range of Material Handling customers. He, along with Sales Manager Jerry O'Neill, serves all of our East Coast and Canadian customers. He works tirelessly to identify and educate prospective customers while supporting existing clients' safety netting projects.

What was your job experience before joining InCord?
In 2019, I worked as a receptionist to pay tuition while attending Penn State College. After Covid restrictions made that job unfeasible, I found work as a carpenter for my summer and winter breaks. The next summer, I began my internship at InCord and joined full-time after my graduation.

How long have you been with InCord? One year

What does your job entail from day to day?
I'm working closely with Jerry O'Neill (a veteran Material Handling Sales Manager at InCord) taking customer calls and putting together quotes for custom netting systems. I also interpret client drawings and facility schematics to determine the best solutions for their needs and coordinate with our production team to have their nets fabricated to exact specifications. Having a background in Mechanical Engineering gives me great insight when developing systems for our customers.

What has your experience been with the company culture at InCord?
When I joined InCord as an intern, the company culture was one of the first things that stood out to me. Everyone was so kind and welcoming to me when I went to my first picnic, and a year later, I am still impressed with how well everyone treats each other. I've come to see my coworkers as friends, and I always look forward to seeing them, whether it be in person or on a call.

Who is your biggest inspiration within the company?
My biggest inspiration in the company would have to be Jerry. Not only is Jerry a great salesperson, but he's also an all-around great person. If I can instill in my customers and coworkers the same sense of friendliness and kindness that Jerry does, I'll do well.

Favorite quote?
"So it goes" - Kurt Vonnegut

What skill do you think everyone should learn?
I think everyone should learn how to play an instrument. It's very rewarding to play good music as a part of an ensemble, and playing is something you can do anywhere with anyone.

Recommend a book you have recently read:
The last book I read was Ernest Hemingway's "In Our Time." It was his first collection of short stories, and I enjoyed it.

How do you like to spend your time when you aren't working?
I enjoy playing basketball with my friends when I'm not at work. (Go Sixers!)

John is an invaluable addition to InCord. His background in mechanical engineering and customer service are the perfect combination to make him a successful Sales Manager at InCord. His positivity and great attitude are always appreciated. We are excited to add his energy, ambition, and dedication to high-quality service to our expert Material Handling team.
