Brian Cox

As a Sales Manager, Brian works directly with InCord construction partners to develop safety systems tailored to their application and provide life-saving protection to large and small crews. A Huntington, West Virginia native, Brian's background in entrepreneurship, residential construction, and steel fabrication round out his wide range of skills and inform his ability to connect with distributors, general contractors, and construction companies on a higher level.

Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?
My wife. She supports me in being the best me all the time.

What is the most exciting thing you are working on right now?
Developing relationships with new customers.

What have been your most significant accomplishments on the team so far?
Providing a new and alternative perspective that is rooted in working in different industries.

What resources have you found most helpful while on the construction team?
Having an inside drafting, engineering department, and test frame helps to keep us very competitive.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?
The production staff. Their drive and focus on getting things right inspires me to do the same on the sales side.

What is a unique part of working at InCord?
The community and family-like atmosphere.

What is your secret talent?
I can do a killer English accent, along with many different southern accents, plus Jimmy Stewart.

How do you like to spend your free time?
With my wife and hound dog hiking in the mountains or riding my motorcycle on rural roads.

What motivates you?
Good food, good company/friends. I am working hard so that I can indulge in them both.

What is your happy place?
Outside in the woods or any place there are mountains.  Being in the mountains is how I reset myself.

What is your superpower?
My wife says my memory, when it goes in it, doesn't come out. I say my ability to talk to anyone I want.

What is one thing about you that would surprise people?
I'm a brewer who worked in the beer industry for ten years.
I even owned my own brewery here in CT.
